There has been tremendous improvement in the medical and healthcare sector in last few decades. But still the rate of percentage of death is very high. There are still a number of challenges, which should have been solved.
Millions of deaths each year are caused by non communicable diseases, such as Diabetes, Cardiovascular diseases, cancer and chronic lung diseases. Estimate say that 36 million people dies because of such diseases (most of deaths occur before the age of 60), which is two third of the total number of people dies every year. It is also said that this going to increase by more then 40 percent in coming few years.
Cardiovascular diseases are the number one group of conditions causing death globally. Over 80% of CVD deaths occur in low and middle income group countries. INDIA HAS THE HIGHEST INCIDENCE OF HEART RELATED DISEASES IN THE WORLD. OVER 80% OF DEATHS IN INDIA ARE CAUSED DUE TO CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES.
This problems are more into the working class people meanly in the age of 40 to 50. As per the survey conducted by Times of India, report say that 25 percent of the patients are at the age of the 50 years and 15 percents are of the age of 40 years. Estimates also say that 45 million people are CORONARY ARTERY patients in INDIA and this estimates will increase to 62 million by 2015.
